Foundations of Spec Educ2018 Spring

Subject Special Education (SPED) 7301 Section 01 (CRN: 10225)

This course is the initial course in the special education program. The course serves as the introduction for the master's and certificate programs as well as the non-traditional program. It is intended for candidates who have been fully admitted to the special education program. It is an intensive hybrid course that includes field components that address the seven competencies required of special education service providers in public schools. Candidates will learn specific competencies through intensive competency and content driven modules and apply the content in specific activities in a special education setting with mentor/university supervisor oversight.
