Prerequisite: BIOL 1400 or 1401 or equivalent. A survey of the animal kingdom from microscopic forms to mammals. Acquaints the student with the nature of animals. A study of general principles including taxonomy, organ systems, similarities of structure, function, and behavior of animals. Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory per week. Four credit hours.
