Subject Interpreting For The Deaf (INTR) 2344 Section 01 (CRN: 10572)

Prerequisite: INTR 2320, 2330. Compares the fundamental linguistic structures of American Sign Language and English. Introduces students to the basic concepts of linguistics: phonology, morphology, syntax, and language use. Compares and contrasts basic similarities between ASL and English with a goal to teach students to think critically about languages and language use.
