Subject Speech Communication (SPCH) 3316 Section 9H1 (CRN: 13161)

Prerequisites:SPCH 1300 or consent of the instructor. This course develops the student's ability to effectively prepare for and participate in a variety of interview situations. Topics include impression management, rapport building, interview organization, effective questions and answers, and effective listening. The focus is on using in-class activities to develop effective interviewing skills. Three credit hours.
This class meets 2 times weekly on campus. Additionally, the class has a required online component; so students will need to have access to a computer and the Internet.
