Prerequisites: junior standing or consent of the instructor. Offers an introduction to the fundamentals and use of relational databases and focuses on four major topics: ER-diagram, relational algebra, SQL language and Oracle. Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.
This class is webcast live. Students can attend in person or remotely. Class sessions are also recorded. Some class sessions will require students to attend live, either in person or via web. For a more traditional classroom experience, students are encouraged to attend in person.
