An advanced survey of theories, principles, and research in areas related to human factors and cognition including perception, attention, pattern recognition, memory, language, decision making, and problem solving. Emphasis is on the application of principles in cognitive psychology to issues inhuman factors and ergonomics in order to solve real-world problems related to the human-machine interface and the use of technology.
