Group Communication2018 Spring

Subject Applied Communication (ACOM) 3322 Section 9H1 (CRN: 14986)

Prerequisites: ACOM 1300 or consent of the instructor. The principles of group/team interaction are studied and applied in a series of group discussions dealing with information gathering, problem solving, and decision making. Activities identify the effects of an individual's characteristics on the group and of group action on the individual. The focus is on using in-class and group activities to develop effective group interaction skills and presentation skills. Three credit hours.
This course also includes online work in Blackboard as part of the class requirements.
