Mediation Seminar - 3 credit hours Examines current research and theories regarding conflict and their application to the practice of mediation in a variety of conflict situations. Teaches skills necessary to serve as an impartial third-party, such as listening, questions, creative problem-solving, moving beyond impasse, and caucusing. Addresses various medication styles and types of mediation.
This course will also meet on January 12 (5:30pm-9:30pm), January 13 (9:30am-4:30pm), and January 14 (11am-6pm).
