Prerequisites: BIOL/ERSC 4421 or consent of instructor. This course builds on the fundamental concepts of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from ERSC 4421 Introduction to GIS. It focuses on advanced applications in GIS with an emphasis on problem-solving, advanced analysis techniques, and database management. Dual listed as ERSC 5422. Two lecture hours per week, four laboratory hours. Four credit hours.
