Essential Nursing Skills2018 Summer First 5 Week Term
Subject Nursing (NURS) 1300 Section 203 (CRN: 30382)
Prerequisite: Conditional admission to the nursing program. An introduction for nursing students to essential psychomotor skills and professional behaviors required for the safe practice of nursing. Emphasis is on skill mastery. Three credit hours. (2 credits theory; 1 credit lab)
Students will be assigned to a Monday or Friday clinical. Students are required to complete one hour of open laboratory time per week during the assigned section time frame. All exams for this course will be on Tuesday mornings with lecture to follow on Tuesday afternoons. More information will be provided at departmental orientation.
