Corequisites or prerequisites: PHYS 2122, CHEM 3370. An introduction to multivariate statistical methods and error analysis. Experiments include synthesis of compounds, measurement of physical and electrochemical properties, determination of heats of reaction and reaction rates, and superconductivity studies. Laboratory three hours per week. One credit hour.
