The fundamental concepts of computing in a personal computer environment. Introduction to hardware and software and system configurations. The focus is on practical problem solving using popular PC application software for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. This course may not be counted for credit toward a computer science major or minor. Three hours lecture per week. Three credit hours.
