Prerequisites: MCOM 2320 and MCOM 2350. Application of principles of news writing to journalism practice; development of skills in evaluating the news, interviewing, and gathering information. Laboratory instruction and practice in objective reporting. Materials submitted as assignments are subject to dissemination through print and broadcast media and on the World Wide Web.
