Subject Business Information Systems (BINS) 4351 Section 9H1 (CRN: 63013)

Students will gain practical experience is using advanced database techniques and data visualization, data warehousing, reporting, and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Contemporary BI tools and techniques will be used to create intelligent solutions to realistic business problems. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as This course is BINS 5351. Prerequisites: C or better in BINS 4350 (or MGMT 4350) or equivalent or consent of the instructor.
Section 9H1 is a HYBRID COURSE, which will have an online component in addition to meetings on campus. Meeting alternating Tuesday evenings 6:00pm - 8:40pm in RBUS 107. Both BINS 4351 and 4355 can be taken together. BINS 4351 will meet the first week online; see Blackboard for instructions. The first face-to-face meeting will be August 30.
