Each special topics course must first be approved by the biology department, which will also decide if biology credit will be granted. The topics will represent specialized areas of study in the biological sciences. Credit will vary and will depend on the amount of time necessary to cover the topic. One to four hours lecture. One, two, three, or four credit hours.
